Linden Hills Accessibility
Situated on Lake Calhoun in Minneapolis, MN, this home required an update including the addition of a three-stop elevator and better access for a wheelchair throughout.
The location of the elevator shaft near the central ridge of the house allowed for an interior-only renovation while providing good circulation and a more identifiable entry space on the first floor. The master suite and guest bedroom on the second floor were remodeled for easier access, particularly through the closet and bathroom. An updated kitchen and living/dining space is planned as a second phase of this project.
