2012 ASID Showcase Home
Having been well preserved for nearly 70 years, this 1899 home overlooking Lake of the Isles in Minneapolis, MN was looking for a fresh 21st century update.
The whole-house renovation features a super-green design for modern living balanced with a strong respect for the history and character of the home. The update includes new porch, kitchen and carriage house additions as well as new plumbing, electrical, mechanical, windows, insulation and siding throughout. Design Forty Five partnered with 30 interior designers and a landscape architect to present the home for the 2012 ASID Showcase. The project is certified sustainable by Minnesota GreenStar at the highest level, “Gold.”
